I'm curious about how far an Islamic center needs to be from Ground Zero to be acceptable.

Deepish Thinker is the chosen pseudonym of a blogger whose actual name is not at all noteworthy. Nonetheless, your faithful correspondent may one day need to apply for a job from one of those 1984-esque employers who take an interest in a candidate’s non-work online activities. So the pseudonym is probably a good idea.
